Sticking from passenger door

Hi All,

Has anybody had experience with doors sticking on open or close from front passenger door is the worst.

When I pull the door handle, it pulls out on the spring loaded handle until it reaches maximum movement but the door does not open. I have to exert more pull pressure beyond the normal release pull and then it pops open. Equally when I'm shutting some doors, they do not seat in fully so I have to re slam them a little more.

It been in to the dealer over the last few days for a Service and inspection of this, but seem to have come back with the same problem.

Could it be alignment, door handles, latch mechanism, rubbers or anything else ?

Thx

Could be any, all or a combination of the above sir... Could be a badly aligned door with a failing catch & a stretched release cable to boot!!! Doubtful but possible! Sounds to me like it all wants a bit of adjustment by someone who knows what they are doing sir Thumbs Up

Like Craig said.

depending on how good you are on the spanners, its an hour job to get the door stripped down, door lock taken out (to lube),
door cables off to fill with oil / wd40 or similar or just replace them with new ones (that way they wont break on you any time soon and leave you unable to open the door).

youtube had some vids of removing the door card, but to have a good luck you need the battery to be disconnected and the airbag moved to the side.

if you're not sure, best to leave it to someone else. 2003 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 on Gas
