Wind Deflectors

I had these on my D3 and they worked a treat. Am not a huge fan of air con so am considering fitting the front windows with a pair. Has anyone done this...I don't want the look spoiling (as gay as that sounds).... Laughing Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

i know what you mean..just come back from 1661 miles to and from switzerland and at speed you have to close the windows and therefore have to have the ac on...its nice for a bit but fresh air is better... ... - .- -.

i've got just the fronts fitted they're made by climair

i like to have some fresh air flowing in preferably without the rain so they're great, do the trick and don't look out of place.

Dunno. I'll try it tomorrow on the way to work.
Do you want the window all the way down or part way?

I may be being a bit thick.... If you don't like the ac, why not just turn it off, turn off the recirculation, and set all to cold, with all the flow buttons pressed, and the fan at which ever setting, that way you get the outside air straight to the cabin. Very Happy There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

ok, not highly scientific but tried it with the window down and at half way, stationary and whilst doing 30.

New Zealand 2010 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC V8 Galway Green

I had them on the 4.2 in Nigeria as it made sense there. Not sure about here as I don't have to open the windows in pouring rain without being under some form of cover.

I have the AC on year round and keep it in top condition, I hate the noise of open windows, the foul smell of old diesel engines etc. I do like the smell of Durian but that gets in anyway even on recirculation Smile. In Nigeria and Malaysia it makes no sense to keep the windows open, you really need the filters to clean the air before it gets in and you use recirculation a lot. The other thing is noise, open windows on the highway (same as convertibles) will damage your hearing over time, mine is already quite crappy so no reason to make it worse. The deflectors don't do enough to keep noise levels down at the speeds I drive.

So the only reason is to prevent rain ingress with open windows, i.e. no reason to do it on the 5.0. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

@mr jones, the problem with that theory is if its 25 degrees outside , it wont be long before its the same inside the cabin...

thanks for your test jake Thumbs Up ... - .- -.

United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Java Black

My 2011 Vogue came with them fitted front and back, but I took them off because I didn't like the look and couldn't see the point so I am about to put them on ebay. They are secured to the window surround with double sided tape, and came off OK with no damage. Also, they are black and opaque, so do obscure the sightline a bit on the front windows. If you are still interested, PM me. 2011 Vogue TDV8 4.4
