Were you required to make any changes to the installation instructions in order for this to install correctly? I have a 2008 L322 and I when I replace my parcel shelf, I want to install this accessory.

Looking at the installation instructions on the previous page of this thread, they look push fit, so a big screwdriver under it should do it.

Worst case, you break the covers that you can't see when there is an umbrella in place anyway - unless I'm missing something.....

dont need to use a screwdriver - try a trim removal tool they come off okay. Fitted to my L322 Westie and wish I had remembered how expensive it was as I would have removed them from it when P.Ex'd for my new L405 But will get over the annoyance and buy some new ones
