United Kingdom

Still see the odd one here in Northern Ireland as a few are still used for royal duty and VIP escort work - all Black and actually identical to mine so I get a few strange looks when about the Belfast area Mr. Green Not seen any others on the roads at all though.

Manc airport TP have a few D4's and Freelander2's but they are starting to look long in the tooth. Many forces have moved to X5's with the odd defender.

London/protection units have some D4's and one or two rangies but that's purely for shuttling people around, they tend to go for the jags mostly now for shuttling and discos for the protection boys/girls from what I've seen.

Shame really but LR priced themselves out of that market quite quickly a few years ago and the defender is likely to go the same way when it gets replaced Sad FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Definitely Defenders in the North.

Santana's (Iveco's) look really ugly these days, can't really mistake them for a Defender any more.

Defenders seem quite popular with local authorities in FR too.

A quick google search shows this;

But there hasn't been a manual Range Rover since the P38 so thats probably old info by now as well , to be fair Full Fats are too expensive and too sophisticated for Plodwyns needs these days and the people making the buying decisions probably think a KIA would do the job . 2008 MY Supercharged

What's the point on an auto unless towing or off-roading 😄😄 FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Normally when I'm pressing on a bit and want to power through a bend, it fafs about when i press the throttle down and I end up getting power as I'm about out the bend. Prob my driving style, but I want to hold it back in a lower gear so I have power when I move the throttle. Only drive quick 2 or 3 times a year I must admit - not the best for an auto admittedly. 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8
