Interior cleaning

Good evening all I am looking for some reviews on interior cleaners and dressing what every one uses and what they think as I am trying to give the interior a good clean up but I don't want it all sticky and shiny like the cheap crap you get from back to black ect cheers

Just using their interior shampoo and a soft brush on the plastics cleans it up without adding shine.

I use autoglym vinyl and rubber car on the plastic bits after i've cleaned them, but it does make it shiny. I think you could use one of the matt finish flash dash sprays to protect it without adding shine.

For the leather i use Autoglym leather cleaner and gliptone conditioner.

I use Meguiars Quik Interior Detailer Cleaner on the plastics, which leaves it matt, and Gliptone for the seats. 2017 4.4 TDV8 Autobiography

If you have a look at the detailing world forum they make and sell their own products which aren't bad, still use some of the interior spray from a couple of years ago. Dan

I've given up using a vacuum cleaner, I now use an airline, open all the doors, lean in and blow it out the door your at, the first few times you do it the dust is amasing, it cleans real deep down into the carpet and just blows it all away...

Then head for SWMBO kitchen cupboard and nick the Mr Muscle, best stuff ever for marks etc, just make sure you rinse it off well... Pete

I use Autoglym stuff too. I find that using their glass polish to do the insides and outsides of the glass makes a big difference to how clean the car feels. A soft paintbrush is good for getting dust out of vents etc with vacuum cleaner beside it to pick up the dust. Dog paw marks on the lower tailgate seem to need interior shampoo plus a scrub with a deck type brush followed by a cloth with clean water followed by drying with a towel. Only Range Rovers since 1988

For a vacuum cleaner, one of the Henry's with the 5 metre hose is ideal. Trying to wrestle a conventional domestic vacuum cleaner with a 6ft hose is a nightmare.

For the lower tail gate i use the wet and dry carpet shampoo vac on it, love seeing the dirty water being sucked up into the nozzel. It's a shame they didn't do a clip on rubber mat for it tbh.

I vacuum first, next blow everything else out with compressed air, finally wipe over everything with budget baby wipes. The cheap wipes are a little harsher but just right for getting stains off leather. I give the mats a go with the compressor too. Very effective.

Ive used a Maguires leather cleaner. However, it was too harsh for my aging leather and just took out more colour. ______________________________
