Scotland 2009 Range Rover Westminster TDV8 Mariana Black

Well 7 months after noticing the clunk I finally got round to replacing the drop links and hey presto it was indeed the issue.

20 minutes each side no issue with bolts, lucky for once! Laughing

I did read a thread somewhere questioning why the top only has a washer and I think after doing it I have the answer.

The bottom connection on the anti-roll bar is way thicker, the top mount is a thinner metal, the washer on the top pads it out to the same thickness. Without the washer there should be no issue at all bar one ...... a normal socket will not tighten the nut fully because the bolt end over runs the depth of the socket before the nut is tight. Thumbs Up 09 TDV8 Westminster, Mariana Black, Rear seat entertainment, hatch bag and 2 slobbery mutts
