I was in my mates garage a couple of weeks ago, Mick, your garage is tidy compared to his, I had to climb over all sorts before reaching the other side |

Tell me you did not simply cut away the bottom cord from roof truss to get the height for the lift ?? |

A little more than just cut the bottom cord Simon. Lots of thought went into the truss cutting, plenty sleepless nights and once I had decided to go ahead with it it was a nerve wracking time up there with a saw in my hand. There was a load of 8x2 and 6x2 bolted onto the original structure before any cutting was done |

This Is why I am going to hate moving nearer Edinburgh. We currently live in the country and have 4 cars In a garage about the size of yours. When we move (Work reasons) We will have 1 garage. That's one of many downsides to living In a townhouse. Now I have to borrow 3 garages from friends and family.
