I have just bought a 2010 5.0 Supercharged car, which will hopefully arrive on Friday. I am based near Heathrow and looking for an indi garage close by who really knows these cars. The car comes with a two year warranty, has a full main dealer service history and I have obviously had a good look at it and used the buyers guide on this forum.

However, I would also like to pay someone to go over the car with me independently, get it up on the ramps, check to see if the main dealers have done what they say, discuss weak points on the car etc, and also with a view to moving the car over to them when the warranty expires.

I have used the search and Challenger 4x4 seems to come up, any other recommendations, my apologies if this is the wrong section as I have just joined. Thanks in advance 2010 5.0 SC Autobiography

I use Rovertune in Reading and highly recommend them. They do a lot of L322's.

They're an easy drive from you, too.

Slightly nearer is Conrico in Chertsey. They're OK but I felt Rovertune were far better.

Further afield is Guava in Guildford. They're really good, in my opinion.

If you want a main dealer, there's Lookers in Park Royal, but I've not used them so am unable to comment. Si. <This is my name.

I'd recommend SMS Motors in Colnbrook so very close, I would it's my Dad's garage! He has done my BMW Z3M coupe since 2001, alfa's, Lexus and others as well as my friends and colleagues.

I know I am biased but he has all the diagnostic kit and have never needed to go to main stealer...

He's about to do my pads on my 5 litre supercharged too.
