Hi there.
Could anyone help me. Had the air con re-gassed today and the mechanic spotted a couple of wires with connectors on. In the engine bay, just by the fuel filter. Just wondering if the are meant to be there or connected to something ??

They use one loom for all specs of cars so there are always spares lying around, if everything works OK then nothing to worry about... Pete

I have the same on my 2005 TD6

I seem to remember someone saying the car uses a universal wiring loom that suits different models?

I think they connect to either a fuel cooler fan for hotter clmates or a heater can't remember which but it's been asked before and is normal. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

They are for the little electric fan that's for the fuel cooler that we don't have in the UK I believe.

Fan is 17 on here ;
