Someone was bound to fall into my trap. I tell students that they shouldn't start sentences with conjunctions, simply because they do it repeatedly. The guidance is that it is perfectly acceptable as long as it is careful and selective; Hardy is/was a particularly good example of a writer who did this. And so am I. Wink

I still wouldn't touch the car on eBay with a bargepole though.
