We've just had a VSE come in, black Ivory. Being prepared at the moment. Call Jeremy or email jeremyjackson@lookers.co.uk (he's in Fromm 11am on Sunday).

We don't load them on the net until they are prepared (as the photos need to be perfect), therefore there may appear to be none out there when in fact they are selling before being advertised. This is what happened with Andy D's purchase.

Generally the best stuff sells before hitting the net as each Sales Exec will run a list of customers and what they are looking for.

PS we're taking in a 58 plate Q7 4.2 TDI this week if it's of interest?

I'm sure James can tell me if I am talking out of my rear end, but as there was a credit crunch two years ago and new car sales fell through the floor there is a shortage of decent stock from that period.
Probably a contibuting factor to the current high prices.

You're probably right although the manufacturers did all they could to continue to register cars to their business partners etc.

My opinion is shortage currently of stock due to 10/11my change meaning far less decent retailable PX's (Andy D's new RR came in against an Autobiography Black), but also the fact that winter is starting to set in. People are remembering the weeks of disruption due to snow, and thinking "I'm not going through that again.". We are currently awash with rear wheel drive German part exchanges.

Finally, there seems to be a resurgence of FFRR demand as more people are going down the TDV8 FF pre-owned route as opposed to new/demo RRS in the absence of a TDV8 RRS.

I think people are generally feeling more ecconomically comfortable and want to reward themselves for getting through the last two years.

Only my opinion.

2010 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Stornoway Grey

James Thumbs Up I believe my TDv8 RRS was sold within a day of me bringing it in. Next problem will be that there will be a shortage of all colours except Black, everybody seems to want Santorini. Somebody on another forum posted that he recently did a factory tour and he reckoned 85% of the cars he saw going along the production line were Black or White, 10% Stornaway and the remaining 5% Silver or Ipanema Sand. It's the same for D4 and RRSport. Just hope nobody is looking for a Galway Green/Buck Blue/ Bourneville or Rimini because they may be in for a long wait. 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Vogue SE Supercharged Buckingham Blue

I've got a buck blue mid 07 S/C I'd be prepared to let go for the right price... even then only to replace with a similar TDV8... love the S/C but our mileage profile is about to alter significantly which mean a TD will become more viable.

Will sorely miss that V8 S/C when we eventually sell... the ONLY replacement I'd consider is another FFRR though Smile
