I seem to have snapped off the rear screen washer nozzle that inserts into the wiper arm locating point. Is the nozzle available as a part? Does it just push into the metal surround?

Unfortunatly it is not available on its own from the dealers you have to buy the wiper arm to get the washer cover, iv'e been quoted £34 inc VAT which for a dealer isnt to bad

I picked up a new wiper arm which includes the cap containing the nozzles. Unfortunately, it seems that the part that the cap fits to in order to supply fluid to the screen (broken off as per my picture) is a part of the wiper motor assembly and is not available separately.

I had to have a replacment motor due to it leaking, around £100 used or £150ish pattern part but only a 30 minute job and easy to do

Yes; not difficult, but extremely annoying if the motor etc are fine - just a tiny but of plastic broken.

bought an old BMW compact wiper motor from ebay

cut of the nipple of it with a hacksaw!

glued the nipple on and was really really carful on clipping on the nozzle cap

works fine, but still expensive fix for a stupid piece of plastic
try looking at BMW rear motors which have the water jet coming through the spindle like....

Do any of the BMW rear wiper motors actually fit as a complete unit?

the bmw compact looks the closest but the mounting is still wrong. I spent quite a lot of time comparing images with the FF rear wiper
not saying it couldn't be made to fit but since I was only after the plastic nipple, went for the lowest cost used compact wiper i could get and hacked off the bit needed
I have kept the rest of the bmw motor as the gears and motor may be the same as the FF

'Glad I'm not the only one! There must be a nipple that would fit if you drilled out the old - if only one could locate it. I have effectively done the same as you so far.

My Seat Leon has a very similar system. I drilled out the broken tube and threaded through a small bore piece of washer tubing. The spray head pushes into it, and the washer spindle just fine, and it connected up at the other end with a standard push fit connector. Just make sure to leave enough slack in the tube to allow for the movement of the wiper arm.

Sounds good. Do you not get a leak where the tube meets the cap? The original arrangement looks as though it relies on a tight fit between the spindle part and the cap.
