Looking at another TDV8 with a front grille like this one:

But prefer the look of this grille, which has a black surround and seems to have a darker mesh area?

Can somebody tell me what the first grille is off and what the second one is. If we go ahead with the car I'd like to change from one to the other, if it fits??

Trying not to be an anorak, but isn't the second grill (your preferred one) a standard 2012 MY grill and would be a straight forward exchange ??

I think Powerful UK do a "replica" of both the grill and vents as a package - is it one of these ??

So the car I'm looking at seems to have an Autobiography upgrade grille. And I prefer the original 2010 grille. Just a darker shade.
So basically I think I need to downgrade the grille, or do a swap with someone on here who wants to upgrade to an AB version??

No, you prefer (the second one) the standard 2012 MY grill i.e. black around the edge.

Look at my gallery - mine is a standard 2010 grill i.e. grey round the edge.

The only thing I'd say is, the second link I posted (Saxton 4x4). The mesh seems to be darker as well, not as grey as yours. Or maybe it just been painted??

Yes, you want the 2012 MY grill and I feel sure its a straight swap, but others will confirm.

Have a nosey around the Powerful UK website - they have a number of variations and I think they will have what you want

Yes any MY10 onwards cars all have the same style grill fittings so u can fit a MY12 grill on a MY11 car and vice verse.

I'm pretty sure the colour your looking for is oberon, the earlier ones are titan.

Found a completely gloss black one on Powerful Uk but want it to look as original as possible so will keep looking for Oberon then.
