2003 HSE TRIP COMPUTER KEEPS SCROLLING

My dad has a 2003 HSE. It has the normal radio not the large screen, problem is the computer keeps scrolling through its different menu,on both displays. Any body know what the problem is or how to fix it?

Just a thought but is one of the buttons stuck in?

Have you checked in the boot on the passenger side compartment for water ingress? The Audio equipment in there doesn't like getting wet.
