The value is normally in the tyres rather than the wheels. A set of used alloys are probably only really worth £150 tops, unless they've been refurbished. Tyres are worth at least £50-100 each depending on size and condition.

I hate seeing alloys with weights on the rims, it's just wrong. It damages the rim and does nothing for the look. They really should only be sticking weights on the inside. It would have an effect on the price I would pay.... Previously..

Yeah I kinda agree visually. Although to be fair I have lost a few of the "stick on" type weights due to pressure washers etc when stuck on the inside.

Stick on ones work well until the wheel starts to corrode, they you have a job making them stay on. |
