I was in Harwoods of Basingstoke today and chatted to one of the service guys. They are offering an annual service package for L322/405 cars under three years old that costs £480, and if your car is three years or older, this reduces to £420 p.a. This price includes an MOT, and all annual service schedule requirements.

This seems like an excellent price, especially considering that I currently have an annual package with Hunters that costs £100 p.a. more.

Has anyone had any experience of Harwoods group?

Great service using the Harwoods Advance Service Plan. However, quoted £800 for replacement of front discs and pads..I think not SDV8 AB MY 2019

A lot of the main dealers do those sort of deals now. They've realised that when cars start to get older they lose them from the main dealer network, so they've all started doing fixed price service plans on the basis it's better they make £30 on a service rather than they £30 going to an independent.

I've only bought a few spares from Harwoods (online), but what i would say is the service you receive can vary vastly between dealers in the same group, even in adjacent towns. So really you need feedback from people who've used your specific dealership, rather than the group as a whole. It's probably just asking a few random local Land-Rover owners if they get their car serviced there and what they think of them. Even if you just catch a couple of people at Tesco when you're doing your weekly shop.

Harwoods Edenbridge is excellent. Bought all my Land Rovers there. Treat you well and don't rob you. Can't speak for the rest of the group, but I'd be surprised if it were any different. They offered me a service plan last year but I didn't take it up. Just booking the next service, quoted £400. Quite happy with that.

I have used Harwoods in Pulborough for servicing and they have been excellent and reasonable on price.

Although I bought my present L322 from them, when I expressed interest in ordering an L405 I found that they took little interest in helping me so I placed my order elsewhere.

It all depends on which dealership and who you deal with.
