Had a great weekend, the lanes are very tight and we had to do a bit of trimming on one lane to get through... did another not very used lane and found out why some 100yds from the end... would have been hard to get a motorcycle through... so a fare bit of reversing for everyone.... Also there is no way it will fit down the famous "V" gully lane where a three foot tree has been sculpted to Disco shape....!!!

Was waiting to sort the hours of in car footage but the SD card has corrupted and I've lost the lot... so nothing to show I'm afraid...

I'm doing a recce this weekend with a couple of mates... be going from The Lake District to Whitby on lanes we haven't done before for a mammoth coast to coast trip in July... should be a full weekend of laneing... Pete

Have to re visit good old Wales again and do it all over again ( making sure you have many sd cards ready )  If it dont work.......burn it!

Whats your economy like with the 32" wheels? Mine dropped from 15mpg in town to 12mpg which seems a bit drastic.

I never really bother measuring it, but that sounds about right, remember the tyres are just over 10% bigger than the originals so your speed and distance recorded are now just over 10% more... My speedo reads about 1mph under at 70 now so it's just about spot on...

So your mpg now is about right and before was 10% over... so you dropped from 13.5 to 12mpg so not such a great amount, that will be down to needing more power to turn the larger tyres and the additional weight... Pete

Right then, it's been 6 weeks since the second hip so I'm back on with "playing in me shed"....

Rear bumper is looking defo dodgy having spent a lot of it's time kissing various big lumps of stone around the country.. I also don't have any room for a spare as the hole is full up with LPG tank... I also fancy a rear winch, because I can...!!!

So first job was to reposition the LPG filler from a rather silly place anyway, just behind the rear wheel and about a foot of the ground......
