Rattling Passenger Front Seat - Anyone Have This?

Hi all

After a week or so of owning my 2013 4.4 SDV8 Vogue SE the front passenger seat seems to have started to rattle when nobody is sat in it and does it under normal road conditions, not as much on the m/way, much more obvious in town driving.

I think its more prominent when the temperatures are a bit low outside but its definitely the seat because I can stop the noise by holding the headrest, which stops the vibration of the whole seat, so stops the rattle.

I have tried moving the seat a little bit to see if it engaged better but it still does it.

It didn't do this on the test drive and my missus has only sat in it once for a couple of hours. Its very annoying.

Anyone else have a ratting seat, if so, how do I sort it out please? 2 year warranty, 1 year original and 1 year top up, is this likely to be covered if I take it in?

Thanks

Carl

If I were you I'd definitely take it in to see if they know what is going on. Could be something simple as tightening a bolt/nut or something. It also may become a bigger issue later so better get it checked out before it does.

I haven't read anything on here about a rattle yet to be honest, sorry. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!
