On mine if I leave auto wipers on you have to turn them off and on again every time you turn the car off. So you dont leave them on by accident from the day before and then go through a car wash the next day and rip them off I guess.

both the RRSports that I have owned were the same, and if you engage reverse then when the front wipers come on then the rear one does too, damaging that! 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes |

When I had my last FFRR back in 2003, after the first heavy frost the local dealer had to replace lots of door seals under warranty/ the VIP maintenance plan as the original design used to freeze completely to the body and opening a door ripped the whole seal off where there was contact. Didn't take LR very long to come up with a new design. 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes |

Ditto for 02 model. Mine lives on Auto, just have to switch off and on again to get 'em working. .
