Amplifiers - cheaper alternatives to LR/Harman Kardon?

I have the "bog standard" 2002 HSE TD6 with single CD player & radio and, whilst removing some corrosion in the connection box on top of my (Harman Kardon??) amp (LR part no. xqk000020), I appear to have snapped off 2 of the little metal tongues inside. To replace the whole amp is £480+!!

Does anyone know the equivalent BMW part number or any viable other brand/make replacement? Have searched Ebay and t'internet. will this one do the job?

or any of these?

Alternatively, anyone know if I can just get the little "hedgehog" box with the metal tongues in (about the size of a matchbox) inside the top of the amp which the wiring slots into?

Is it repairable, is there any way to open thing thing up?

Interestingly it seems the P38 may use the same amp: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Range-Rover-P38-DSP-...arParts_SM I think this was from 2000 onwards.

Have you tried the breakers? Maybe give this guy a call: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/LAND-ROVER-RANGE-ROV...230acad87b

Beware though that I "think" the amp you have is not harmon kardon? The part in Microcat says it's for the 6 speaker system rather than the HK 12...

PM me your chassis number and i'll double check what's fitted.
