Germany 2012 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Santorini Black

you can get the "deck-type" plywood in ready made sizes and various thicknesses from all sorts of wood types,
teak, sapeli, oak etc.

see here for example: http://www.sommerfeld-thiele.de/file/somme...g_nr10.pdf

Not a bog deal for a proper oatbuilder to do up a boot "deck" - even more easy if you have a smaple which you could use for measurements.

As we are speaking about smaples, wood and boat decks: would you be able to privide detailed pictures of your Ultimate teak boot? How is this made? Is the teak plywwod and attached to the standard plsatic mouldings covering the spare wheel well or is this a "self sufficient" sturdy wood construction?

I would also love to have some detailed pictures of the hinges, as I doubt they are specially made but rather some fancy stainless steel boat type hinges.

last but not least - I am in the boat market and do know quite a lot of talented craftsmen, so if I could get some detailed informations about this boot liner construction and dimension, it would be easy to make up parts and get them made to order at reasonable cost. (which we would need to figure out)

The plwood itself is not that expensive and the size of the boot layer is quite limited, so it might just be some labour, but surely not the amount LR charges.

Oh, I can help with pics.... Thumbs Up

I made myself a terrasse table from teak deck strips and a couch tray for use near the sofa - teak decking as well.
So I might just make me a boot liner if I can find some suitable dimensions and details of the support constructions. Thats the reason I asked for detailed pictures of "how its made".

And if you make one, its easy to make some more as you have the sizes in the laser cutting machine anyway.

777 are there any benefits to having a wooden floor other than letting everyone know you have an 'ultimate' ?
Does it scratch easily if you carry things around in the boot? Is it a practical mod or do you have to treat it with kid gloves? Travelling around in circles again.

That version for the 405 is available on the powerful UK website for £1200 quid
Have a word with powerful - they may be able to source one for the 322
They note it as a non genuine part so someone has copied it!

Surely a bespoke kitchen / cabinet maker will be able to turn that out for you, without the Range Rover mark up, and be able to do it a wood of your choice. Failing that look towards the marquetry boys would be able to knock that out blind folded, although it might be a bit plain from them, you could add the Land Rover crest in the middle to make it more of a challenge Thumbs Up Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... I cant work this out - surely all LR dealers should be the same costs then ?

Dealer 1 @ £ 11,490.00 + VAT = £13788.00
Dealer 2 @ £ 9857.50 + VAT = £ 11829.10

whys there such a difference - and my dealer has all the parts listed
60579 / 45456B / 22800 / 45456B / 45456A / 42410 / 454K64A / 454K64B / 454K64A / 45456C / 45456D / 60579

and no I don't owned a 777 - but they are one of the most amazing planes to fly except the mighty airbus 380 Thumbs Up
