I'm a happy chap. Me and mine have had it ok under the Tories (perhaps because I'm willing to try and earn instead of waiting for hand-outs?)

What does an MP who has been in parliament for 30 odd years go and do now?

an MP who has been in parliament for 30 odd years probably has more money than me and you put together so he'll have a nice retirement ... ... - .- -.

i think the reason we are 'shocked' at the big names losing their seats, and that (possibly) good MP's have fallen out with their constituants, is that we were voting for mainly party colours, not MP's individual qualities/record etc.
