Debenhams lorry drivers - shocking driving! Grrrrr

So there was my family and I heading along the road in a 30mph zone with tin tent on back (you can't miss it!):

Minding my own business, inside lane going past the Western General in Edinburgh and the Debenhams lorry towing its own twin centre axle trailer overtakes me (mind its a 30 zone), then he comes into my lane and comes ever closer, ripping off my extended mirror and pulling my FFRR door mirror forward.

Go mad with the horn, he doesnt stop. After the fifth set of lights I get alongside him on the outside and shout at him to pull over as I am going to, well, get his details. But he decides not to and does not follow me, he keeps going.
Spoke to Lothian Police and they said I need to go to my local police station as it is a reportable offence.Whoopee doobs loads of hassle. I have already given Debenhams CUstomer Services a polite earful about a Debenhams lorry hitting me.

I predict loads of hassle for a poxy extended mirror, plus a FFRR folding mirror which is decidedly noisy and clunky now.
Rant over.
For now.

You have to chase it up, otherwise you will lay in bed at night thinking about it... Worth the hassle.

Good luck if you do.

Specman, hope it isn't too late but when I had an incident with a tanker lorry and reported it to the police I was advised by them to also report the incident to the fleet manager for the company involved. Apparently it is an offence for a truck driver not to report to his manager that he has been involved in an incident, regardless of how small it might be and the driver will be hauled over the coals if he hasn't reported it and could be dismissed.
Result for me was not only a call back from the fleet manager but also one from the MD of the company who was also a customer at the local LR dealers and also ran an RRSport although his was an S/C not a 2.7SE! Upshot was that I was told to submit the final bill for repairs to the MD (I wasn't claiming on my insurance) and they would refund the cost of parts and repainting.................. when I did I was very surprised to get a letter back saying that they company had decided that as I hadn't lost my rag, i had been reasonable with them and dealt with everything myself they would refund the entire cost of the repairs and enclosed a cheque for the full amount with the letter. Well done Snowie, the company involved. I have never heard what happened to the lorry driver........... but I do know that he hadn't informed his manager when he returned to the depot as the manager was surprised that he hadn't had a report within 12 hours of the incident and my call to him was the first he had heard that one of his trucks had nearly taken the entire side off my RRS with it's trailer wheels 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

Thanks all & Tim - I typed up a report and emailed it into Debenhams HQ last night and I have got acknowledgement today that it is being looked at.
Took the same report to the local Plod and they have photocopied it for submission to the Traffic Dept.
Notified my insurers, not as a claim at this stage, purely notification of a lost extended mirror and abused FFRR folding mirror.

I had a good look at the car and van looking for signs of me going "off-road" to avoid collision and could not find any. Bing maps have shown me how I did leave my lane without mounting the kerb - there are slip roads into and out of Western General Hospital which have been handily placed. Clicky aerial view
In fact you can see clearly the pedestrian island which the guy was swerving to avoid which made him leave his lane.
Banged to rights, just got to make it stick, thats the problem!
