Brakes overhaul
Calipers taken apart and re painted - new piston seals and brake lines added - forgot to photograph these later
Job done - looks better when you look at alloys ![]() in case anyone asks - yes I use 4x 10 tonne jacks & 4x axle stands on solid concrete, had to put the car here as it was apart for 6 days while the painted dried and parts arrived. |

It amazes me that so many folk - keep there cars mint - but forget about the important parts like brakes One word of warning the front calipers are now 3 years old - in the winter they get hose washed every time the Salt mans been around in his little lorry that said - the bleed nipples are ![]() Also wash the salt off the important bits in winter - as they get a hammering Also the brake lines have a 5 inch pipe in various places that join the rubber pipes - the salt attacks these The car pictured - I replaced all 4 lines ( LR only charged 38 + VAT each line ) - easy to fit and I have now wax oiled the tubes mentioned above to give them a little more protection As Tesco's once said - Every little helps x |
