Steering column slip ring replacement

Ive heard its a common fault, and they're replaced but how big a job is it please? And how much should i expect to pay to get it done?

I haven't had to do mine yet but it's only a steering wheel off then replace the ring then put it back on, no loner than an hour if you know what your doing... Pete

Thanks gents, you are like buses Smile

Craig, its started 'clicking' at low speed when turning, not necessarily on full lock, but when driving around car parks or parking up etc, read somewhere its a common fault. It doesnt bother me too much but not sure what will get worse if I leave it (will i start to lose steering wheel functions?)

Is it a single part to replace or a kit, and what sort of money is it please Craig?
