WANTED: RR 4.2 S/C Vogue SE

This is a great site.

I am looking for the following spec:

FFRR 4.2 S/C Vogue SE
Black or Buckingham Blue
Light-coloured leather (no dual)
40K miles or less (the lower the better)
56 reg or later (so that I get the new interior)
F(LR)SH

My budget is up to £35K.

I just missed out on a cracking car with Stratstone Aylesbury 6 weeks ago, and have been looking regularly on Autotrader, Pistonheads and E-Bay.

Are my spec/budget mis-matched? If not, any ideas where else I might look? All input gratefully received.

Cheers

I think your budget looks quite reasonable.

The SC does devalue quicker and (mostly) do less miles than a Diesel.

I'd have thought you be looking at around 2 or 3 years old for a Supercharged VSE for 35k.
I just bought a VSE TDV8 for a smidge over 40k, but it was an 08 plate (June 2008) with 26k on the clock.

Edit:

Welcome to the forum. Thumbs Up

Land Rover Approved has a...

4.2 Supercharged Vogue SE on a 57 plate,
Black with Parchment interior,
34,000 miles.

And it's for sale for...

£35,995. Thumbs Up (Can you haggle £995 off)

Fox - many thanks for your helpful replies. I should have looked there, but didn't as I assumed the approved vehicles carried a hefty premium (that would take me over budget).

I've also come across this:

http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/adv...ogcode=emf

If the underlying colour is dark and it is genuinely easy to remove the wrap, then I would be interested.

Does anyone have any experience of removing this wrapping (a previous post on this topic didn't say) or of the dealer that the car is on with (Boyz Toyz London)? I suppose it's not the best start that they have listed it as a RRS Smile

We are taking in a slightly newer vehicle which may fit the bill:

Range Rover 4.2 Supercharged Vogue SE
Black with Ivory
June 2007 / 07
36000 Miles

It will be approx £38,000 but thought I'd mention it. It is due in on Saturday, therefore if you want to discuss further then give Matthew or Jeremy a call on 0208 992 2299.

James Thumbs Up

I often find main dealer cars only 2 or 3% more than others, but they have the best stock so it's well worth it for the amount of money you are spending.
With a vehicle as complex as the FFRR it makes to sense to get main dealer peace of mind for the marginal extra cost IMHO.
