last weekend i had cause to traveled from surrey to (to see friends) a little village 10 miles from scunthorpe The route i chose was to head up the M40 across past silverstone, M1 and then A46 but thats not the point. The point is that i was astounded that it seemed evey 5 min i was either seeing a range rover Vehicle (full fat or sport) either on the other side,over taking or being overtaken by me.

This not only happened on the friday afternoon but also on the return journey on sunday afternoon /evening. Even the wife of actualy commented that was there some sort of convention for RR going on as she had seen loads.

Even stopped at a service station and lined up next to two other full fats

is it me or are RR's becoming ever so popular.

Yes, they are popular. I see about 10 sports every day per FFRR I see.
But then I live in Essex.

i see about one or two at the most around swindon, some days none at all.... ... - .- -.

Plenty of L322's around this part of Central Scotland, mostly older cars and RRS seems to the default model for replacing them when owners move on to a new car. Possibly more FFRR's up in the Aberdeen direction than there are RRS's. Loads of D3's too.

Even the street sweepers have FFRR's up here. Must be something to do with the streets being paved with gold.  The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom

Loads of RRS here. Few FFRR. Huge loads of Porsche Cayenne and ML. LR sales here over the whole range around 1200 cars in CH. Daniel

Have been noticing loads, last weekend lots of fairly new (max 3 years old) FFRRs about but even this large number still outnumbered by the RRSs.

This is in the Middlesex and Hertfordshire region (North West of Londinium)

There is me a similar age silver Vogue and an old black HSE and rummers that a forestry trucker has just bought a red Overfinch and one RRS otherwise thats it for all of Mid-Argyll that I see . 2008 MY Supercharged

would lose count in central london, most are les then 3 years old, if i said 30 plus in a day and if i am around kensington or chelsea more...do you know what makes me laugh.. loads of them are always on the phone while driving. apart from this one

Axle, usually it's because they haven't taken the time to RTFM and don't know how to pair the phone up. When my younger sister got done for about the 3rd time recently I asked why she didn't use the hands free system in her RRS......... answer "It has a hands free system built in?" My B-inLaw wasn't aware either and he paid for the car! They had never taken the time to open the owner's manual to find out. My house Is on a hill and looks over the M90. I prbably see In the region of 15-20, most going towards Edinburgh. Not a huge amount for a motorway but that's the amount I see with my eyes, there could be more. It's either that people seem to have more money or just realise they are amazing cars. Either way I don't feel as lucky to own one anymore as every other person owns one.
