After around 6 months of motoring in the full fat, reading the many posts on the forum, our motor is not very good with the mpg figures.

As mentioned by others, your consumption seems normal. Best I've ever got was just over 26MPG but I was in a convoy with some old Series Land Rovers doing 75KPH on the freeway all day.

I would honest recommend getting it chipped - mine, on mixed urban/motorway runs went from around 22mpg to around 28mpg. 2002 Range Rover Vogue |

3.6TDV8 with 1800kg ish tintent on the rear I get 18-21mpg...depending on situation. Small sacrifice I think when you see some of the caravan numpty's with big twin axles being towed by a VW Golf... Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........ |

Might look to getting it remapped later this year.

I don't tow and I don't carry heavy loads. Town driving about 18mpg. On a long motorway run I can get over 30mpg. My normal average figures are 23-24 mpg.

Since getting mine, a full service, remap, deleted the egr removed viscous fan and what made the biggest improvement getting the rear bushes replaced/tracking sorted now I get 25mpg on my regular 7 mile trip, on a long run will now hit 35+mpg |

I'd also add getting a proper 4 wheel alignment done. Not just a tracking adjust by kwikfit but a proper 4 wheel computer alignment, they'll check rear track as well as camber, caster and centre line. If the alignment is all over the place you'll waste fuel and wear tyres. |
