United Kingdom 2016 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Santorini Black

We debated it, but looking at those prices, I'd rather go skiing with the family 4 or 5 times!! There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Great family holidays and the memories they create are priceless Thumbs Up

When your kids have grown up and left home you'll look back and remember these experience's and they will mean far more than the car / tech / big TV you didn't buy as a result of spending the money on holidays Thumbs Up

Well, DisneyLAND is actually in California. You may want to escape there while the family lives it up in Florida. Mr. Green

Seriously, I just got from a week in Florida with a nice five day pass to Disney World. That's really quite enough time to see it. It was a lot of fun and we didn't stint on things. But it didn't come close to those prices. Yikes! Shocked Shocked I know I'm starting slightly closer than you are, but Censored

19,000 poundshop items to go on holiday!!!!!! Shocked

we did the obligatory Eurodisney visit, whilst in France, for one day. and yes it was a typical theme park atmosphere, -all day queueing, and moaning, and drinks and toilets, and gift shops. you really are fleeced in the name of 'parenthood obligation'.
When we eventually saw the character roadshow parade (this was the only time you saw the so called characters) unlike the typical pictures you see of kids shaking Pluto's hand etc. When it was turfing out time, we were then stifled into the junk food retail park neighbouring it to be fleeced again, just to fill our bellies.
It was awful.
its a bit liken to 'having to look forward to surgery' you know you have to have it.

p.s. at the Eurodisney, you cant buy the DVD's on site. of Disney films........(correct around 2010) as they are not the same company.....you can buy any sized character hat keyring, pencils etc.
but no films!
I live near to the UK Chessington theme park. they have the same fleecing attitude. they now charge you £2 to park your car, just to get a couple more from the pocket.
its all the sideshow stalls like at the fairgrounds, that you pay to use within the themepark i really hate.
bah-humbug! Mad

I have got to say that I have been to EuroDisney once and Disney Florida twice and the two times I went to Florida were great, my kids were only young first time and for them it was a magical experience.
The second time we stayed off park, the kids were a bit older and we spent a lot of time at Busch Gardens, Universal etc as well as Disney, they enjoyed it. None of us were too pleased with EuroDisney especially the empty plots that said things like "Space Mountain coming soon" maybe we went to soon.
So yes as adults its easy to see through it all and you can't help but be cynical (it is after all a money making machine) , my kids wouldn't go now even if I paid, but the first time was for them a truly magical experience - that money can buy Very Happy

and Mick I suspect you can afford it Thumbs Up Geoff

£4 to park. WDW is $17/day. It's not included in your admission.
