Hi All,
Sorry if this is a kicked out old topic but, please help a relative Newbie...

When driving much above walking pace, the audible interference/background noise received by teh person on the other end of my call is totally crazy !

Now - the mic is in the centre roof console, which is a country mile away from my mouth, EVEN when i drive and crane my neck towards the mirror (which not only looks stupid, but is uncomfortable and dangerous !)

Is this a known issue ? Is there a Fix ? Have LR ever done a recall and fitted better mics ?
Has anybody ever got a secondary mic fitted (maybe on door/screen pillar ?) that still works with built in system as I dont want to go to a Parrot or after market solution.

Sorry for lots of words and questions but any/all help is appreciated (especially as car in LR garage as we speak)

I replaced the mic

They cost almost nothing and it took me one min to replace, and all was fine again

just been quoted £112 by the Dealer to replace the Mic !!!

How much was the part ?
Where can I get one from ?
is it 'really' easy to fit ?
