Reverse passenger dipping mirror has stopped working

Folks,

This has always worked for me, when I put in reverse, the passenger wing mirror dips. Now it has stopped working. Both mirrors adjust electrically and fold in and out, just the dip when popping in reverse has stopped happening.

Only thing that happened today is it went into a local independent Land Rover specialist for air con service and re-gas.

Any advice on where to start?

It's the little left/right switch for the mirror adjustment - in one position it dips, in the other it stays in the same place Thumbs Up

When your mirror selector switch is selected to the dipping mirror it does not dip, it only dips when the opposite mirror is selected Thumbs Up Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

OMFG - I'll have to try this then and update you guys later. So I'll switch it and leave it on the right and hope when I select reverse that the left mirror dips Smile

The dipping mirrors on the 2010 MY are pretty cool, they both dip and I've noticed they adjust, seemingly to show me what's coming up on each side, like the car knows it's proximity to objects. This is impossible but it might be something to do with steering input. Discovery 4 HSE

Thumbs Up don't worry - it's not particularly intuitive - glad that's all it was

That's the value of forums Cool

I'm switching all the time - my wife likes it dipped and I don't - I wish it could be programmed to the key like the memory seats are
