Hi

On my friend's RRS, one of his key is completly dead as it has never been used. These are the same as on the 2005/2008 L322

Would simply putting it in the lock and clicking it one position 1 recharge it or is it dead for good?

Anyone knows if key batteries charge as soon as position 1 is reached or if the engine has to be running ?
