AC Condenser fan tries to start but 'sticks'

Hello,
Recently had my AC re-gassed and while its a lot cooler, its not AS cool as I remember it in the past.
The chap that did the re-gassing, gave her a once over and noticed the front compressor fan wasn't spinning, but unlike various other posts on here, it wasn't totally dead, every few minutes it would 'twitch' as though it wanted to start but couldn't spin for some reason. I can turn it by hand so I don't think its seized.

Any clever tips ? WD40?

Its a 2002 V8 4.4 in case that matters

Thanks in advance
Pete

I would initially look at the electrical connections including earth for possible signs of corrosion.
Also if you have a multi-meter check the voltage at the motor and also how good the earth is.
Nothing wrong with dumping a load of WD40 onto the motor shaft, you never know. Thumbs Up
