I was on the M5 today with the tin tent and was approaching the point where it splits for north and south and needed to move from the inside lane to the middle lane and several people refused to let me in even though they were only crawling. One or two even purposely closed the gap. The same thing happened when trying to join the M6 from the M5, even other drivers towing caravans
