As we usually travel from Sussex our overnight is normally Chartres so can't really suggest anywhere in Rouen. It does depend very much on what you want. We look just for a clean, secure overnight stay with no frills. For that we use the B&B Hotel chain. No evening meals but buffet breakfast. They are usually sited with restaurants nearby. There is one at Saint Étienne de Rouvray. The Chartres one is good but, as it is down to the local manager, they do vary so can't really vouch for Rouen.

We used www.sawdays.co.uk for an EU trip and found some really nice and interesting places. I actually found them through this forum if I remember correctly 😊 MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
