loadspace umbrella holder

Has anyone fitted one of these:

http://accessories.landrover.com/gl/en/ran...la-holder/

I quite fancy one to stop my umbrella rolling round the boot, but was sure how they attached to the shelf - I wouldn't want one if it meant putting holes through that were visible on the top etc

Yes, I have one and am pleased with it. No visible fixings from above, and it works, don't notice it. It holds the umbrella under the folding flap on the parcel shelf at the rear of the boot, using some stiff velcro fasteners. I can't actually see how it's fixed to the shelf - all you see (under the shelf) is two pieces of polished stainless steel into which the velcro disappears; they probably slide off but I am not about to try.... Could hold two umbrellas as the velcro straps are quite big. Norman

I have one fitted too, they pop rivet into the parcel shelf, as the shelf is a twin wall thickness it doesnot show.

£97 Shocked

I have 2 golf brollies in my boot - they live in 2 pieces of grey 40mm pipe taped together to stop them getting squashed.

I didn't realise you could pop rivet - I might do that next but just with a bit of velcro & a couple of penny washers and save £96.50 Whistle

Can I please have your instruction leaflet once yours are installed ?

I'd like to understand how they are fitted.

I've only had mine a week too haha, bought allsorts and random things so far; including a 1:18 model, I do that for every car I've ever bought.

I wouldn't mind some seat covers for when I'm training, rubber mats for winter, boot rails and storage kit and finally I wanted an ivory leather child seat to match the interior but the only one I could find was by überchild and more a brown colour on arrival (much darker the photos)
