I can forsee one problem with the new wheels................. no centres to cover the hub ends could be a bit iffy offroad where I go.

Just done the 20" to 18" upgrade.

Put on some stock 2004 TD6 wheels found on ebay in Oxford (now my road wheels match my spare ), and splashed out on a set of General Grabber AT2's from Micheldever Tyres - couldn't find cheaper on the net - Tyres only £108 + VAT, fitting £8 per tyre plus VAT.

Ride improvement immediately noticeable, and I really like the chunky look. Now for some heavy snow and muddy lanes

Exactly what I'll be doing with mine, this weekend I'm picking up some 18 alloys to fit my At2's. I like to be able to use the 4 wheel drive system!

hello i just got some 16 inch zu rims and i'm looking for the right tires on my rrc..
does anyone know what size is gonna fit to the classic?
at the moment i'm running 7.50R16 michelins on the original rrc steel rims
i'm thinking about getting the bfg all terrain in 245/75 or 235/85
with a 2 inch lift and some snipping it shouldn't be a problem
but as my range has got no rust - southern france - i'm not too keen doing any snipping
even if i do like very much the look of the rrc with decent flares..

Nice rugged look now get the wheels professionally painted/powdercoated black/dark grey!

Could someone (Tim?) re-post the pictures of the 19's which will fit over Brembo calipers on an 2006 FFRR please? Don't fancy tackling the winter on 22's (although with brand new tyres last year they coped pretty well!).

Theres a guy on ebay selling brand new sets of 18" vogue alloys with brand new Goodyear Wrangler tyres for £480 for a set of 5.
I've just put my 18s back on today in readiness for the predicted snow. Hate the look of them compared to the 20"s but its only temporary! 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded
