I have a MY2010 and my friend has a MY2009. We are looking to split the cost a diag and config tool. Mainly to changes setting and enable features ourselves. What would you suggest as the best options?

Currently looking to go for the IIDTool BT but can we run this on two VINs in different MY dates, or will we need two units?

Alternative anybody in the SE that can help for beer tokens.

I need to enable the tow bar and signature lights. Plus anything else we don't know about but will be helpful

As far as I know you can buy the 2d with two codes for two cars. So you don't need two tools. You have to buy an extra code....obviously the tool is not expensive enough to buy with more as one code.

You will need to buy an additional VIN for the IID, which is an extra £60 or so
