just done one and yes it is a tight squeeze but easily diy...make sure you put the bonnet in service mode and have a stool handy to stand on.. ... - .- -.

open bonnet, unclip the two bonnet supports at the bottom, these can sometimes be done by hand...lift the bonnet to vertical and on each side there is a sliding bit of metal that clips onto the support mechanism to keep the bonnet upright...

Someone step in if I'm wrong but I'm sure I was told that the negative lead has an explosive charge on it to disconnect the electrics in case of impact. If not, I'm possibly confusing it with something else but if so, be ****** careful!! |
