2004 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Giverny Green

Sat nav lady won't speak to me

As per the title.
The sat nav is working correctly but no voice directions.
I haven't switched the sound off, the sound just stopped working of it's own accord.
Just wondered if anybody else has come across this?

Mine does this every so often, I find that the traditional 'turn it all off, turn it back on again' routine normally works - not so useful when you're hammering down the M6 mind, but she always seems to come back...

You could always get rid of her annoying voice and have 'The Big Yin' giving you verbal abuse for going the wrong road

My sat nav voice is off (red X through the speaker sign at bottom right of the screen) and I can't find how to change this despite reading the manual. Help!

(if I touch the symbol she'll pipe up the next direction but then go silent). 17 MY Corris Grey 4.4 VAB

press menu and on the bottom right will be 2 loudspeaker icons press the one without the red line through it.. ... - .- -.

It also possible to adjust all the individual volume levels for sat Nav, tmc etc by pressing and holding one of the buttons under the on/volume knob. Think it's the left hand one. Discovered this by accident the other day! There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
