Maybe someone can point me in the right direction before I start ordering parts:

I have an oil leak on the left side of my TD6 (Driver side). There is oil all around the oil filter housing (not on the oil filter) where it attaches to the block. See picture.
I haven't had the RR on a lift yet but crawling under the car I saw that the bottom of the engine is covered in a film of oil. What puzzles me is that the oil drops are clear (can't be engine oil as it has a dark color when I checked it)? The clear oily fluid doesn't smell like diesel or brake fluid...

Do I have two leaks (one around the oil filter housing and one somewhere else which leaks clear fluid)?
what are the most common leak points I should check?

If you look at the picture is there a hose missing from the silver pod? Excuse me for not knowing the correct designation - I just got the car a few days ago.

Could be a diesel leak, the Jubilee clip in the picture is a common problem on these and they seem to always leak where the pipe goes onto the high pressure pump

Thanks! I'll wash it down with break cleaner and replace the jubilee clip then and go from there.
