Thanks for the quick reply, but, sunlight compensator does what? I live in Perth so if that measures or compensates for sunlight then i am afraid its,out of a job. |

In simple terms, if it senses sunlight then increases the cooling of the climate control to compensate for the extra heat coming into the cabin through the windows, in order to maintain the set temperature, a sort of override. .

Sounds logical, i just would have thought a temperature sensor would do the trick. Well at least now i know what that funny red thingy is. |

Well ,well, now i can relax, knowing that my comfort is taken care of. Thanks for the heads up Weegie, but i supose i will always think of it as that red thingy. |
