Air suspension inactive

Hi
i have read through many threads but couldnt really find the answer, driving to work this morning and got the meesage come up, the light that usally shows which position its at is not illuminated, does this point to anything in particular?
I have tried lock to lock no joy, will dissconnect the battery later to see if that does it or should i be looking for something as the light is out (fuse)???

is the battery reset just a case of dissconnecting the negative for about 1/2 hour?

It happened to me when I had the air pump out and when I replaced no light at all,i was fortunate as my mate is a wizard with diagnostics and he had it working before I had made him a cuppa.I do not know if there is a way of reseting it without plugging in.I believe there is a small gadget you can buy at around £3o that resets most air suspension faults which is worth a try before you spend good money on a diagnostics guy!!

Whatever fault it has, has locked the suspension to help prevent it dropping and not rising again, it will be a hard fault and will only reset with a diagnostic tool....

If you plan on keeping the FF then you should get one, the IID tool (site sponsor) is a good one, best place to get one is Dan at Duckworths (another site sponsor) there are others available but last time I checked the IID seemed the best value.

Will pay for itself with about three code reads at the dealer plus you can configure the car to your liking as well..

You will of course need the fault that caused the lock out fixed, unless your lucky and it comes back on with a reset.... Pete

Very easy to use, they do two types, one that works with the cruise buttons and gives readout in the dash display (you need a good display with all the pixels working) or the Bluetooth one that uses an app on your phone, both do virtually the same....

Around £300 for the non BT one.....

Ask Dan at Duckworths for a price, he can usually get a good deal.... Pete
