CD changer not reading discs

I have tried a few different CDs inc originals but nothing works. You can hear it load up the discs & on screen it shows "disc 1" but others show "no disc" & even disc 1 does not play. 2004 RR 4.4 V8 Autobiography

Mine was like that had to change it not a bad job but dash end and glove box to come out. You might be able to take it out and get it serviced but I just got one off flee bay £150 mine was a most fiber optic linked one

If yours is the earlier BMW one they are cheap as chips mate

I got it working, I pressed the button in the roof console while trying to get the DVDs in the back to work & it started playing. 2004 RR 4.4 V8 Autobiography
