Ok fiddling with new toys in new car - Homelink - I have read the manual and tried to wipe the (if any) stored codes and the process is not doing what the manual says.

I thought I would try to program a button and that process didn't do what the manual said either..............

trying to program the outmost two buttons - one for gates and one for the garage.....

Any tricks to this or am I just out thinking myself on this one. "On first name terms with my local Dealer......now."
