Is that not the Disco Sport? which, if so, looks smart enough but seems more trendy lifestyle than real deal. |

Its not the new Discovery but its called the new Discovery!!! Before you climb on that big old high horse!!! We went for a Gaydon factory tour recently and the tour guides were told by JLR bosses to 100% discourage any talk of Disco Sport being a replacement to FL2! 100% cannot talk about any correlation between the two! Strange lot up there But true! Last edited by Cam-Tech-Craig on 30th Mar 2015 7:49am. Edited 3 times in total |

Similar story to the RR Evoque being on a homologated FL2 platform...

On the FL2 forum (yes I lurk on the off chance that's my next move) JLR are thinking of a smaller model named Freelander that will fit in the range below the Disco Sport that's why they have "parked" the freelander name for now. Or it maybe the name for the new defender Mine was a blue one! |

If anything the new Defender would be given the Discovery name imho... Cant see them using a smaller/lesser model name, they usually go the other way...
