Bluetooth retrofit?

I found a site yesterday that sells BMW kits for Range Rovers, that allows the use of Bluetooth.

Clicky

Seems expensive to use a phone- does anyone know of a cheaper source?

Bluetoooth connectivity is alright, but seems to have its limitations. For example, I don't have use phone functions such as phonebook which is a bit of a bummer. I'd imagine you need a method of hard-wiring (e.g. phone cradle) which doesn't seem possible with my phone (Nokia N82).

I believe some people use a bog standard phone in their cradle, and redirect their calls??? Not ideal though.

Works GREAT. Fully integrated into the RR. It is also 1/3rd the cost of the original Range Rover telephone option.

Here is a video

It is the phone system that the RR would have had originally IF they were still owned by BMW and not sold to Ford in 2001. BMW started getting this system in late 2003-2004.

All the wiring for the system are in the RR now and you just need the adapters that come with the kit
