Recording from L405 rear camera?

I have just bought a 2013MY 3L and rather fancy fitting a dash cam. Is it possible to pick up the video from the existing rear camera and feed it to adash can recorder, AND still have reversing video as originally designed? 2010 TDV8 Zermat Silver with dirty streaks

havnt heard it been done on this forum...it would be much easier to buy a self contained unit with sd card recording.. ... - .- -.

run the wires under the tread plates to the front or find a ignition feed at the rear fuse box.. ... - .- -.
