Hired a Golf from Geneva Airport to drive up to La Clusaz day before yesterday and was surprised to find it had "Stop Start" technology even though it was a six speed manual. Very clever version of automatic EPB that held it when clutch down and out of gear too!

Give it a few years when those cables have stretched and the mechanisms start playing up as we all know epb's are a bag of fun to work on FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

My Audi A1 is also manual with stop start tech. You get used to it after a while...

Had hill hold and stop start on a Mini Clubman back at the beginning of 2008 , it was OK and certainly not the worst thing about a frankly stupid car . 2008 MY Supercharged
