I think it's the in the width of the tongue on the rear mat - effectively the part which goes under the front seats.

Scott, the other option I have considered but not taken yet is the Hawke mats that are shown on eBay at around £59, my concern is that various adverts list them as 2005-2012 fitment but as Dan's earlier reply show there is a difference so I am unclear as which they fit properly.

In all honesty if the genuine Land Rover one's were the same price I'd buy them in a flash.
